Base1, part of the National Youth Service (SNJ), offers young people a space to explore creativity through modern technologies. From music and design to programming and making, it’s a place where ideas can grow freely.
As the existing identity and website no longer reflected Base1’s mission, a full rebranding was carried out. Inspired by “creativity in motion”, the new visual identity features a dynamic, ever-changing logo supported by bold colours, strong contrasts and an energetic visual rhythm.
The website was completely restructured and redesigned. The rebranding extended across a wide range of materials, including posters, banners, social media assets, t-shirts and trade fair graphics.

During the design process, multiple logo variations were developed and tested. Through ongoing iteration, it became clear that change itself was a defining element of the identity.
Exploring animation felt like a natural step—introducing movement, flexibility, and a sense of constant evolution. The logo is not static; it adapts and shifts, reflecting a brand that is always in motion.

The animated logo leads the way, setting the rhythm of the website. Motion, type, and layout work together to extend the identity into the digital space.
The site keeps things clear and useful—showing what’s on offer, when it’s open, and where to find resources—without losing its energy.
